The Rastro Market’s bar is lucky to “borrow” renown chef Andrés Ruiz Mesa from his own Spanish restaurant, Arcadia, for one Sunday. Andrés will be serving a varied selection of traditional Spanish tapas and “raciones” (portions to share) with authentic Spanish recipes, high quality produce and delicious flavours.

Andres Ruiz Mesa & Arcadia

Andrés, owner and chef of Arcadia Gastronomique, was born in Canary Islands, Spain and had been living in Melbourne for more than 15 years.He loves traditional Spanish recipes and flavours and as he puts it “In my restaurant I aim to bring a slice of Spain to my customers.” Arcadia has been included in The Age Good Food Guide since 2011 and has two Gault & Millau hats.
